The countdown has begun for Huawei’s eagerly anticipated Mate 70 series. With the smartphones expected to be unveiled this month, the number of leaks has significantly increased as the launch event draws closer. Recent reports reveal key features of the Huawei Mate 70 Pro.
Huawei Mate 70 Pro Features Revealed: What Will It Offer?
Digital Chat Station, known for industry leaks, has shared some key specifications of the Huawei Mate 70 Pro. According to this source, the smartphone will feature a 6.88-inch curved LTPO display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120 Hz refresh rate, and 3D ToF technology for secure facial recognition.
In addition, unlike its predecessor, the Mate 60 Pro, which had an optical fingerprint scanner, the Mate 70 Pro is expected to offer enhanced security and durability with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
The Mate 70 Pro’s main camera will feature a 50-megapixel sensor with a 1/1.3-inch size and variable aperture. This sensor is likely to be either the OV50H or the newer OV50K40. Additionally, the phone will include a 50-megapixel periscope lens with 3.5x optical zoom and a dedicated telephoto macro mode, housed in a 1/2.5-inch sensor. Details about the other sensor’s resolution and features have not been disclosed yet.
The Mate 70 Pro is also said to support both wired and wireless charging, along with dust and water resistance. According to the source, the smartphone will be powered by a 6,000 mAh battery.
