Xiaomi, one of the successful players in the smartphone market, is gearing up for the release of the successor to its Xiaomi 14 series, which was launched in October. The Chinese brand aims to unveil the Ultra model a bit later than the previous series, and new leaks and reports are emerging day by day in this context. Recent reports suggest that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra model will feature a groundbreaking technology.

According to Digital Chat Station, which is known for industry leaks, the upcoming Xiaomi 14 Ultra model will incorporate a single-point ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The technology being developed by the Chinese company is said to be more precise and secure compared to the optical fingerprint readers used in current flagship models.

The smartphone will feature a 1-inch Sony LYT900 main camera sensor. This sensor will appear as an optimized version of the IMX9898 found in Xiaomi 13 Ultra, Xiaomi 12S Ultra, and Xiaomi 13 Pro models.

As seen in previous Xiaomi Ultra models, the 1-inch camera, which has been a constant feature for several generations, will also be utilized in the Xiaomi 14 Ultra. Additionally, three auxiliary sensors with a resolution of 50 megapixels each will accompany the main camera. The device is expected to house a 5,500 mAh battery.

The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for the new processor, manufactured using the 4nm process. The processor includes 1 ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, 2 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, and 2 ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The new chip also features the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support. Lastly, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to be unveiled in April 2024.
