Developed by Mojang Studios, Minecraft was released in 2011. Initially a simple sandbox game, it gained popularity over time and is now among the world’s most beloved games. One of Minecraft’s most appealing features is its offer of an endless world. In this context, players can explore for months within the game. But what happens if you walk 10 million blocks in Minecraft? One player decided to test this, and the results were surprising.
Walking 10 Million Blocks in Minecraft
As we know, Minecraft features a dynamically generated world that constantly creates new landscapes as players progress. This provides players with an infinite area to explore. Additionally, various biomes in the game ensure that these new landscapes are diverse.
However, as the world expands, the game’s performance can decrease, and players may encounter various errors. For this reason, venturing millions of blocks away is not usually recommended. Nevertheless, one player decided to push the boundaries.
On the social media platform Reddit, a user named Both-Challenge-3204 claimed to have walked 10 million blocks in Minecraft and shared pictures of the newly formed landscapes. These images reveal a valley in the game, complete with lava, waterfalls, and passages, surprising many players. Such landscapes are rarely encountered in the game.
In another picture, we see a village generated by the game, but the ground beneath the village is missing. This is due to the game’s inability to maintain integrity as the map expands.
