Hideo Kojima’s new game was revealed at Sony’s State of Play 2024. The survival-adventure game, which will be called Death Stranding 2: On The Beach, is intriguing with its gameplay that includes many new features.
When is Death Stranding 2: On The Beach coming out?
Sony and Kojima Productions have released the first gameplay trailer for Death Stranding 2. The trailer video, which is about 10 minutes long, reveals what you can expect from the sequel.
The video for Death Stranding 2: On The Beach follows the story of Sam Porter Bridges and other characters. Featuring characters we know from the first game such as Fragile and Higgs, the trailer shows the post-apocalyptic progression.
The world seems to have become even stranger with enemies like spaceships coming out of a baby’s mouth. The main character Sam is intriguing as he uses new weapons, such as an electric guitar, to fight enemies.
Norman Reedus, Léa Seydoux and Troy Baker will continue to reprise their roles in the game. Elle Fanning, Shioli Kutsuna and director George Miller have also joined the cast. The game is expected to be released in 2025 exclusively for PlayStation 5.
The story will continue to tell the interactions of the regions connected in the first game. Many obstacles from new alien enemies will be thrown at players, while the conflicts of interconnected communities will also be explored.
