As the Android market becomes increasingly diverse, Honor continues to cater specifically to those looking for budget-friendly phones. With today’s announcements, the company has added a new member to its affordable lineup. The Honor X7d has been added to the lineup, which focuses on large batteries and extra durability. The Honor X7d is powered by the Snapdragon 685 processor
The device introduced by Honor comes with more advanced features than its predecessor. The new model in the series, the Honor X7d, features a 6.77-inch LCD display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, but unfortunately, the 720p resolution hasn’t been improved.
The phone boasts an SGS 5-star drop resistance rating and is also IP65 certified for dust and water resistance. Powered by the Snapdragon 685, the device is available in 12GB + 128GB, 16GB + 128GB, and 16GB + 256GB memory and storage options.
On the rear, there’s a 108-megapixel main camera with an f/1.75 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor used for depth data. On the front, there’s an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture.
Other features include a 6,500mah battery and 35W SuperCharge fast charging support. The device also ships with MagicOS 9.0 based on Android 15. It’s reportedly available in four different color options: Desert Gold, Ocean Cyan, Meteorite Silver, and Velvet Black. Pricing has not yet been announced.
