Apple’s new M3 Pro-powered 14 and 16-inch MacBook Pro models have finally been introduced. The most prominent feature of this laptop, as the name suggests, is its M3 Max processor.
The M3 Max-powered new Mac can be configured with up to 40 cores, has a larger GPU and is 40% faster than the 16-inch model with the M1 Pro chip. Additionally, it offers a unified memory bandwidth of 400 GBps and features a 16-core CPU arrangement with 12 high-performance cores and 4 high-efficiency cores that can be configured.
The MacBook Pro with M3 Max is up to 2.5 times faster than the 16-inch MacBook Pro with the M1 Max chip and up to 11 times faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Pro model. Furthermore, it doesn’t disappoint in terms of memory, with support for up to 128 GB of unified memory RAM. It is also emphasized that the device is up to 11 times faster than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Pro model and offers up to 11 hours of extra usage. The battery life of the device can go up to 22 hours.
As for the screen of the new MacBook Pro, there aren’t significant changes. Initially, you’ll encounter the Liquid Retina XDR screen, which was present in previous models. In addition, the screen offers a continuous brightness of 1000 nits and a maximum brightness of 1600 nits for HDR content. It’s worth mentioning that SDR content is displayed at up to 600 nits of brightness.
