Realme’s new flagship, the Realme GT 5 Pro, is gearing up for its official debut. The Chinese brand recently confirmed the unveiling date for the smartphone through its official announcements. The Realme GT 5 Pro is set to be released in China on December 7th. However, the date for the global launch is yet to be revealed.
Realme GT 5 Pro launch date
The Realme GT 5 Pro made an appearance on the Geekbench database with the model number RMX3888 a few days ago. In the single-core tests, the device scored 1,229 points, and in the multi-core tests, it scored 4,699 points. Alongside these benchmark results, some key features of the phone have been disclosed.
The smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. The chipset, manufactured using a 4nm architecture, consists of one 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4 core, three 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, two 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, and two 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A520 cores. The new chipset from Realme includes the Adreno 750 graphics unit with support for Ray Tracing.
The device was listed on the Geekbench database with 16 GB of RAM. However, past reports indicate that the phone will be available in two additional memory configurations: 8 GB and 12 GB. Furthermore, it is expected to come with storage options of 128/256/512 GB and 1 TB, along with a 5,400 mAh battery. The battery is said to support 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The Realme GT 5 Pro is anticipated to feature a rear camera setup with a primary Sony IMX9 series camera, an OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto camera, and an ultra-wide-angle camera. The resolutions of these sensors are expected to be 50 + 50 + 8 megapixels, respectively. The device will run on Realme UI 5 based on Android 14 and is expected to be priced starting from $546.
The smartphone is rumored to come with a 1.5K resolution 144Hz refresh rate curved AMOLED panel produced by BOE. The model will include a metal mid-frame and be resistant to dust and water. Additionally, the display will support 10-bit color.
