Images from road tests show that the new model has a similar front end design to the previous Audi Q5 models. The aggressive LED headlights, honeycomb grille and dynamic front bumper air intakes give it a distinctive look.
However, this time Audi has given a different interpretation to the roofline and rear section. The sloping roofline gives the car a sportier and more aerodynamic look, while the redesigned taillights support this aesthetic.
Technological touches continued in the interior. The 11.9-inch digital instrument panel, 14.5-inch infotainment screen and optional 10.9-inch passenger display offer a full-fledged technology experience for the driver and passengers.
The Q5 Sportback will be built on Audi’s new PPC (Premium Platform Combustion) architecture. Engine options include 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines. In addition, Audi’s 48V MHEV Plus system will also offer mild hybrid technology. It is also very likely to be a plug-in hybrid model.
