The iQOO 12 series, which is planned to be unveiled in China on November 7, is seen as a competitor to flagship models with its technical specifications. While the technical specifications of the smartphones are mostly known, a recent report reveals the live image of the standard model.
iQOO 12’s live image revealed
Looking at the image shared by Digital Chat Station, we can say that the iQOO 12 will have an oval camera island. The cameras are accompanied by a vertical LED flash and a stylish iQOO logo at the bottom. On the front, there is a hole-punch display design and slim bezels.
The technical specifications of the iQOO 12 series were recently shared on Weibo. According to this, the standard model will feature a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness, and 2160Hz PWM dimming. It will also house an in-display fingerprint scanner. The device will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, along with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The smartphone will feature a triple camera setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel OV64B telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom.
The iQOO 12 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch 2K Samsung E7 AMOLED display with curved edges. The panel will offer a 144Hz refresh rate, 2700 nits peak brightness, 1440Hz PWM dimming, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone will also be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.
In the camera department, the iQOO 12 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens, and a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom. Both models will offer up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of internal storage.
