On December 5th, the OnePlus 12, set to be released in China, and globally on January 24th, continues to reveal new details. Recent reports have provided substantial information about the smartphone’s technical specifications and design. The device recently surfaced on AnTuTu, achieving an impressive score.
OnePlus 12 in performance test, breaks the all-time AnTuTu record
In the AnTuTu v10 tests, the OnePlus 12 garnered a total score of 2,333,033, showcasing remarkable performance. Breaking it down, the device scored 533,566 for CPU, 904,961 for GPU, 538,511 for MEM (Read and Write speed), and 355,995 for UX.
According to Digital Chat Station, known for leaking information, this is the highest AnTuTu score reported so far for the OnePlus 12. It’s worth noting that real-time results will be revealed after the official launch.
The OnePlus 12 is expected to feature a 6.82-inch BOE AMOLED display with a resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it is claimed that the 2K+ panel will offer a 2160Hz PWM dimming and a pixel density of 510 pixels, with a DisplayMate A+ rating in the 2K class.
OnePlus recently confirmed that the OnePlus 12 will come with 24GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 through a social media post. While other memory and storage options are expected, no clear details have been shared yet.
In terms of processing power, OnePlus announced that the device will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for the new processor, featuring a 4nm technology and a configuration of cores including 1x 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, 3x 3.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, 2x 3.0 GHz ARM Cortex-A720, and 2x 2.3 GHz ARM Cortex-A520. The new chip also includes an Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support.
The main camera of the device will utilize the new Sony LYT-808 sensor, providing enhanced image quality and performance, especially in low-light conditions. Another camera on the phone will be a 64-megapixel periscope sensor, the OmniVision OV64B, offering up to 3x optical zoom with OIS support.
