Mercedes-AMG has come to the fore with a model that will create a new buzz in the automotive world. PureSpeed , the first concept model of the company’s limited-production and high-priced “Mythos series” , has entered the final development stages and has begun road tests in Italy. Here are the details of the vehicle…
Mercedes-AMG PureSpeed: Road tests of the legendary sports car, limited to 250 units, have begun
The PureSpeed is an open-top sports car inspired by Mercedes’ iconic retro race cars and F1 cars. Developed in collaboration with Pininfarina, only 250 units will be produced, each of which will be a collector’s item.
This rare beauty is inspired by the SL63 model, but has a much more radical structure. The PureSpeed has no windshield or roof to protect from the wind, instead it has an F1-style protective structure and aerodynamically optimized helmets.
The vehicle stands out with its shark-nosed design, without a front grille . The lower grille bears the AMG logo in white. This design is shaped to provide maximum aerodynamic efficiency. In addition, the entire structure of the vehicle is optimized to best direct the wind flow.
Mercedes-AMG has announced that the PureSpeed model is in the final stages of development and that test drives have begun on the roads of northern Italy. These tests will be followed by more extensive testing at the famous Nardò test track.
The production number of the PureSpeed shows how special a vehicle it actually is. The limited production will be an opportunity not to be missed for collectors. What do you think? You can write your opinions in the comments section below.
