Redmi presented many new products from smartphones to laptops in China for its 10th anniversary. The model that attracted attention among these devices was Redmi Buds 5 Pro. The price of Buds 5 Pro, which has artificial intelligence-supported noise cancellation, also aroused curiosity.
What does Redmi Buds 5 Pro offer?
Buds 5 Pro promises a much more successful treble and powerful bass experience compared to older models. It has a 10 mm tweeter and 11 mm dynamic subwoofers for comprehensive sound output. It supports spatial audio technology for an immersive listening experience.
The new wireless headset also comes with four microphones with active noise cancellation support. Redmi claims that ANC can reduce ambient noise by up to 52 dB. It also offers three transparency modes for necessary situations.
It is said that voice calls will be free from noises such as wind thanks to artificial intelligence support. The Chinese manufacturer is actually quite confident in its artificial intelligence features. It stated that artificial intelligence supports adaptive tuning in this context and the noise reduction frequency is quite low at 4 kHz.
Buds 5 Pro promises 10 hours of use on a single charge with ANC off and 6.5 hours with ANC enabled. With the charging case, total battery life extends to 38 hours. Other features include IP54 certification for water and dust resistance, touch controls and Bluetooth 5.3 support.
Available in three colors – white, black and blue – the Redmi Buds 5 Pro is priced at $56. The model, which will be offered in China in the first phase, is expected to come to the global market in the coming months.
