This is not a joke. After watching the Squid Game series, you probably wondered, “What if I could participate and maybe win?” You might have even watched YouTuber Mr. Beast’s video that was almost like a real Squid Game after the series aired and became a trend. But Netflix did something very different. Here’s the real Squid Game competition: The Challenge, with its first trailer and details…
The Real Squid Game! Thankfully, no one is dying!
We reported a few months ago that Netflix was working on such a project. Many of our readers even expressed in the comments, “Such a competition should not be made.” Today, with the trailer shared on Netflix’s YouTube channel, the release date has been confirmed. Here’s the trailer video and the details of the competition…
Some may remember the Squid Game series. It featured a stage similar to the Red Light, Green Light game, with 455 people in economic distress and an elderly man as the owner of the game. The real-life competition based on the series is called “456 People,” and it will likely have similar stages.
The competition, which will be streamed on Netflix, will consist of 10 episodes, just like the series. Contestants will play real-life versions of the games we saw in the series, such as Red Light, Green Light, Dalgona (the sugar candy), Marbles, and more. Of course, nobody will die; they will simply be eliminated from the competition. The winner will receive a prize of 4.56 million dollars.
When will Squid Game: The Challenge be released?
Squid Game: The Challenge will be released on November 22, 2023. That means there is exactly 1 month from today, and the series will consist of a total of 10 episodes.
