Last week, Honor announced the new Magic5 Pro, Magic5 Lite, Magic5 series, and Magic VS at the MWC 2023 event. Today, the company launched the Magic 5 series with an addition in China for the local market. According to the announcements, Honor added the special edition, Honor Magic5 Ultimate, for the China market. The new device comes with some special features and more. Here are the details about the Honor Magic5 Ultimate…
Magic5 Ultimate is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2
Most specifications of the new smartphone are similar to the Honor Magic5 Pro, which was globally unveiled at the MWC 2023 event. As the Pro model, Magic5 Ultimate gets its power from Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Mobile Platform, which offers 35% CPU performance, 25% GPU performance, and more. Additionally, the Ultimate comes with 16GB of RAM, and 512GB of storage.
On the display side, the brand launches the Magic5 Ultimate with a 6.81-inch 1312 x 2848px LTPO OLED screen with an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. One of the most distinctive features of this device is its glass, which is a nano-ceramic curved glass. The nano-ceramic glass offers improved drop resistance by 10 times compared to other Magic5 models.
In terms of camera, the Ultimate model features 50-megapixel triple cameras, a 23mm f/1.6 wide unit with a custom 1/1.12″ sensor, a 90mm 3.5x periscope zoom, and a 13mm ultrawide with autofocus and macro capabilities on the back. The device has a 12-megapixel + 3D depth face unlock camera on the front.
The Honor Magic5 Ultimate is available in Elegant Black and Burning Orange options, both in the vegan leather-bound exterior. The device can now be ordered in China for CNY 6,699 (€908), and the shipments will begin on March 20.
