Gaijin Entertainment is excited to announce new local content for the popular online military action War Thunder. The game includes a new short film; “Moments of Valor: Turkey” and new in-game content focusing on tanks, fighter jets, and helicopters used by the Turkish air and land forces. This move will allow Turkish players to showcase and satisfy their interest in Turkish military vehicles, such as the cutting-edge T129 ATAK helicopters.
War Thunder game honors the bravery of the Turkish army with a new short film
Over 700,000 Turkish players have already played War Thunder and have become an important part of the international War Thunder community. Gaijin Entertainment has prepared a new short film called “Moments of Valor: Turkey” using the War Thunder game engine to celebrate their love and passion. This film honors the courage of Turkish military personnel and highlights the contributions of Turkish engineers to the world of military aviation while showcasing the essence of the gameplay experience offered by War Thunder.
In addition, while Turkish T129 ATAK helicopters are temporarily available in the game store, premium versions of Leopard 2A4 tanks and F-5 fighter jets have received Turkish army camouflage. These options will allow Turkish players to further personalize their vehicles and display their national pride. The T129 ATAK helicopter is a domestically designed and produced variant of the A129 Mangusta and is optimized for assault, armed reconnaissance, precision strike, and deep strike missions. It entered service in Turkey in April 2014 and has since been actively serving in the Philippine Air Force.
New and exciting local content
Gaijin Entertainment CEO Anton Yudintsev said, “At Gaijin, we value our players from every country and try to meet their needs.” “We hope to strengthen our relationship with our Turkish players and offer them new and exciting content.”
War Thunder is a free game, but various in-game content is made available through Gaijin. Its online store is quite extensive, supporting all kinds of payment options including bank and credit cards, bank transfers, mobile payments, prepaid cards, and more. Gaijin Entertainment also introduced regional Turkey pricing at Gaijin to make it easier for Turkish players to enjoy War Thunder and make the prices more affordable and predictable. For international players, the switch to regional pricing will make most in-game items about twice as cheap for Turkish players compared to the US or EU. The new prices are already available in the store.
Currently available in 18 languages including Turkish on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game is played by more than 70 million players worldwide and was developed at the headquarters of Gaijin Entertainment, a pan-European gaming company based in Hungary.
