Capcom has begun work on Resident Evil 9, the next installment in the iconic horror franchise. The company, which expanded the popularity of the series with Resident Evil 7 and 8, wants to continue this success with RE9. Accordingly, the new production will be released in 2025.

Dusk Gollem, a well-known name in the gaming world, reported that 2025 could be the potential release date for Resident Evil 9 and that the launch could take place in 2024. Since Capcom has held previous launches in the summer months, we expect the RE9 launch to take place around this June.

One of the most exciting aspects of Resident Evil 9 will be the opportunity to play beloved characters like Chris Redfield or Leon Kennedy.
