New details continue to emerge about the successor to last year’s Vivo V23e, the V29e 5G. This smartphone is targeting the mid-range segment with its technical specifications and design, aiming to be highly competitive in terms of pricing as well. Most recently, the design of the Vivo V29e 5G model has been revealed before its official launch.
Vivo V29e 5G design
The Vivo V29e 5G model boasts a modern appearance. It features a hole-punch display on the front with curved edges, while the back houses two circular cameras. Additionally, it will be available in blue and red color options. The device also presents a two-tone color-changing back design covered in glass.
The device will come equipped with a 6.78-inch 3D panel with a 58.7-degree curve, offering a resolution of FHD+ and brightness of up to 1,300 nits. The display features a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz PWM dimming and will run the FunTouchOS 13 interface based on Android 13 out of the box.
Under the hood, the Vivo V29e 5G will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor. This 6nm architecture chipset hosts a configuration of 2x 2.2 GHz ARM Cortex-A78 (Kryo 660) and 6x 1.7 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores, along with an Adreno 619 graphics unit.
The model will be available in two RAM and storage configurations: 8GB RAM + 128GB storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage. Furthermore, users will have the option of utilizing up to 8GB of virtual RAM. On the battery front, the device will feature a 5,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging support. The unveiling date has been set for August 28th.
