The countdown has begun for the expected release of the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE, which is anticipated to be a more budget-friendly alternative to the Galaxy S23 series. Many leaks and reports have emerged about the device so far. A recent report reveals that the smartphone is set to achieve a first in five years.
Galaxy S23 FE will break new ground after 5 years
According to GalaxyClub’s latest report, the Galaxy S23 FE model will be available in four color options: graphite black, white, green, and lilac purple. The lilac purple color option is noteworthy, as it is said to be the first time this color tone has been used since the Galaxy S9. If the rumors are true, Samsung will be reintroducing this color after a five-year hiatus.
The upcoming Galaxy S23 FE model has appeared in the TENAA database. According to the information, the smartphone will feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display will also support 16 million colors or 8-bit color depth. The device will have dimensions of 158.0 x 76.5 x 8.2 mm and weigh approximately 210 grams.
Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by either the Exynos 2200 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. It will come equipped with a 50-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and an 8-megapixel telephoto sensor. The selfie camera will be 10 megapixels.
The model will offer 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. On the battery front, it will feature a 4,370mAh battery that supports 25W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. Lastly, it will run the One UI 5.1 version right out of the box.
