Now it’s easier than ever to stay informed about your chats and meetings. Microsoft Teams is coming to both Windows and Mac with its enhanced new look. Taking into account the feedback and suggestions of users, it’s fully prepared to offer a smarter and improved working environment. The new Microsoft Teams is set to usher in a new era. With the latest update, the app promises to run two times faster with just half the RAM. Here are the details…
Microsoft Teams, its brand new look, will offer users a multitude of possibilities!
The company, with its brand new effort, will kickstart a new trend with the upgraded version of the video conferencing and chat platform. Microsoft Teams will work up to 2 times faster thanks to these improvements. Additionally, it will consume less disk space and memory compared to the Classic Teams.
The new Teams has a more flexible and simpler design compared to the classic version. This allows the new app to provide better support for third-party applications, making it much faster to start or join meetings.
The company announced the news as follows: “Our goal was to completely redesign Teams from the ground up to provide a faster, simpler, smarter, and more flexible application to help you stay productive and collaborate more effectively. We focused on delivering high-quality performance and improving the fundamentals in areas like reliability, security, and IT management to ensure that the new Teams meets your organization’s evolving needs.”
The company also improved keyboard shortcuts, allowing the app to enable users to navigate between list items like activity feeds and chat topics. Finally, in addition to the “mark all as read” feature in activities, a “mark all as read” feature is coming.
It seems that the new Microsoft Teams has also introduced Copilot. Copilot is an artificial intelligence assistant that will assist you in your tasks. It will work alongside you to help you overcome your tasks. Copilot will analyze chats and calls, allowing you to receive short summaries of all the key points and decisions. You can also choose to share these in Teams later.
Furthermore, Copilot will review your documents, presentations, and emails using Microsoft Graph. This way, it will quickly fetch all the information you need, such as calendar invitations, notes, and contacts. In the next few months, an upgrade opportunity will be available for classic Teams users.
