    Counter-Strike 2’s “Michael Jackson” bug finally fixed

    The fledgling CS2 made the news with the "Smooth Criminal" bug. The company took immediate action and fixed the situation.

    Valve recently released one of the most anticipated games of the year, Counter-Strike 2, or CS2 for short. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, a game that has become a cult favorite in the gaming world, died with it. However, the game failed to pick up where its predecessor left off.

    CS2 fixes Smooth Criminal bug

    Released in 2012, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was updated with Counter-Strike 2, which saw many changes. Even before it arrived, some bugs appeared in the first days of the game that divided the players into two.

    One of the biggest bugs encountered in Counter-Strike 2 (CS2) was the “Smooth Criminal” bug. Valve took immediate action for this and similar bugs. With the update released, the CS2 Smooth Criminal bug was fixed as well as innovations.

    Here are some notes from the new update;

    • Fixed a situation where players could walk through ceilings
    • Adjustments to character shading to improve player visibility
    • Fixed “Smooth Criminal” foot stabilization bug
    • Adjusted team select and team entry blade animations to work with Shadow Daggers
    • Various bug fixes and tweaks to Inferno, Mirage, Nuke, Overpass and Vertigo
    • Added a “Player Color” option to the “HUD Color” setting that will make the HUD match the player color of you or your spectator target in competitive modes
    • “Use Player Colors in Team ID” default changed to “Yes”
    • Added “Big Player Count” setting to replace player avatars with team player count on the mini scoreboard during the active part of rounds
    • Fixed a bug that caused graffiti changes to be delayed mid-match
    • Various bug fixes and tweaks to weapon skins and decals
    • New Screenshot button
    • Inferno and Ancient preview maps added
    • Workshop Item Editor – The integrated help system includes detailed guides when you see them in the tooltip (More Help: Shift+F1). These detailed guides contain important information about PBR color ranges, wear/durability masking alpha values and much more
