Apple Watch imports may be banned in the United States!
The first reports on the subject were published in recent weeks. According to Masimo, the owner of the violated patent, Apple stole the feature of measuring blood oxygen level in Watch smart watches. Masimo, who filed a lawsuit in the American court regarding the issue, wants a large amount of compensation and a fine to Apple for the violation of its patents.
With this feature, Apple Watches measure the oxygen level in your blood. The technology and patent on the subject appear to belong to the Masimo company. Regarding this issue, the company states that they do not find it right for Apple to use such a useful technology without permission and that they will seek their rights. The court has now entered the 60-day review period. With the announcement of the decision at the end of this period, Apple may be banned from importing Apple Watch to the United States, which means sales will stop.
The final decision regarding the Watch, which is produced in China and Vietnam, will be announced after 60 days. There is no problem with sales during this period. If the ban decision is issued after 60 days, Apple will apply to the US court with a petition of objection.
