Microsoft is finally rolling out Windows Copilot, the artificial intelligence assistant it introduced in recent months. This feature, which will be available with the Windows 11 23H2 update, is also a first in the history of the operating system. A new era begins with an assistant that will be much smarter than Cortana.
Copilot and more: What does Windows 11 23H2 promise?
Microsoft has started rolling out the Windows 11 23H2 update, which brings significant improvements, including support for AI. This will be one of the most important upgrades for the operating system, allowing Microsoft to integrate AI into Windows 11.
One of the new features will be the integration of Copilot, the AI assistant launched with Office 365, directly into the operating system. Supported by Bing and ChatGPT, Copilot will now be accessible via keyboard shortcut or taskbar.
Thanks to Copilot, users will be able to perform tasks such as pairing Bluetooth devices, finding files and retrieving information from their computers.
Meanwhile, Microsoft Paint is getting its biggest update yet with AI-driven tools. The Paint Cocreator will use brushstrokes to mimic specific artists and help with shapes.
Clipchamp, the video editor available on Windows, will now have automatic creation, filters, background music selection and a number of AI-powered features. The app is also integrated with popular social platforms. The 23H2 update is rolling out starting this month.
