The latest report shared by Digital Chat Station suggests that the Honor Magic 6 model will feature a 1-inch OmniVision OV50K sensor. It is noted that this sensor in the device hosts LOFIC technology, which eliminates the problem of overexposure in bright scenes commonly encountered in the industry.
The smartphone will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. Qualcomm continues its collaboration with TSMC for its new processor. The processor, produced with 4nm technology, includes 1 ARM Cortex-X4 core at 3.3 GHz, 3 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.2 GHz, 2 ARM Cortex-A720 cores at 3.0 GHz, and 2 ARM Cortex-A520 cores at 2.3 GHz. The new chip features the Adreno 750 graphics unit with Ray Tracing support.
The new processor provides a 30% increase in performance compared to its predecessor. Additionally, there is a 20% increase in energy efficiency. On the graphics side, there is a 25% faster image processing and, similarly, a 25% improvement in energy efficiency. Moreover, it offers 40% better Ray Tracing performance.
Another detail about the device is its support for satellite connectivity. In addition, the device is said to offer some features such as low-power searching to users. Finally, the series is expected to be introduced in the early months of the coming year.
