Nvidia’s DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) technology, introduced in 2019, continues to make a name for itself in the gaming industry. This feature creates an image that resembles a higher-resolution image from a lower-resolution one, enabling higher frame rates. The number of games supported by this feature is constantly increasing, with the recent announcement of new games that support DLSS.
New games with DLSS support have been announced
According to the company’s statement, gamers with GeForce RTX series graphics cards can experience DLSS 2 technology in the recently released Last Train Home on October 9, 2019’s Satisfactory, and the upcoming Gangs of Sherwood on November 30.
In performance tests conducted using the reliable sources known in the industry and utilizing GeForce RTX 40 series cards, Last Train Home showed an average two-fold performance increase with DLSS 2 active at maximum settings.
A similar situation applies to Gangs of Sherwood. Using Nvidia DLSS 2 technology, the game recorded a 66% increase in frame rates at 4K resolution. Additionally, Satisfactory is another title where performance significantly increased with DLSS technology. According to the shared performance data, with this feature enabled, there was an average 71% performance increase at 4K resolution with maximum settings.
