ASUS continues to announce new members of the ROG family at CES 2024. While new information is still coming in, ASUS introduced the new gamepad ROG Tessen model.

Some games feel like the comforts of home with the natural, simple controls of a touchscreen, while others require full, precise controls like physical buttons, joysticks and D-Pads. That’s where the ROG Tessen foldable controller comes in.

ROG Tessen is designed to adapt to a variety of smartphones, making it an ideal option for serious gaming on the go. You can throw your full-sized controllers in your backpack and connect them to your phone via bluetooth, but Tessen features ergonomic handles and an easy-to-fold design specifically designed for portability. It’s designed with durable aluminum bridges that provide ultra-sturdy support for your phone and support pads that adapt to different phone sizes.

This controller offers console-quality sticks, ergonomic grips and a polling rate of 500 Hz for fast response in competitive games. Face buttons and D-Pad with mechanical switches provide tactile feedback to enhance the gaming experience, while 18mm ALPS joysticks offer a wide range of motion for precise control. Also ideal for racing games, analog triggers offer fine-tuned handling for acceleration and braking.

Tessen’s features include the ROG Button, two rear wings along the handles for easy access, and additional control levers that can be programmed with customizable commands. Aura RGB lighting makes the gaming experience more enjoyable with a variety of lighting effects to choose from during gameplay. And 18W direct charging ensures no battery worries during the game.
