HyperOS was introduced to users last year, offering a more stable and comprehensive experience compared to the MIUI interface. While receiving positive feedback from users, the most intriguing aspect has been which devices will experience this new system. Recent reports reveal the Xiaomi models are set to receive the HyperOS update.
More HyperOS updates are on the way for Xiaomi Pad 6
According to information shared by Xiaomiui, the HyperOS update will be available for the Xiaomi Pad 6, which was released last year. The version in question comes with build numbers V816.0.4.0.UMZMIXM, V816.0.3.0.UMZEUXM, and V816.0.2.0.UMZINXM, based on Android 14.
Xiaomi founder Lei Jun officially announced a change in the logo of the HyperOS interface in a recent post. The new logo, described as a galaxy consisting of points revolving together, has a more stylish and compact appearance compared to its predecessor. It also incorporates shades of purple.
Xiaomi HyperOS is expected to offer more customization on the lock screen with new clock styles, fonts, wallpapers, and widgets. The control center will have a cleaner and more modern design compared to the previous MIUI 14 version.
While the application icons remain similar, there seems to be an overall improvement in consistency. Another notable detail with the new version is the space Xiaomi HyperOS will occupy on phones. According to the claims of the Chinese company, the system has a size of 8.75 GB, providing a significant storage advantage compared to its competitors.
HyperOS is designed to consume less power and operate more comfortably with less memory compared to its predecessors. This opens up possibilities, especially for Xiaomi’s older devices and those with hardware limitations.
