Text-based status updates on WhatsApp are on the way!
WhatsApp, owned by Meta, comes up with a remarkable development in the latest beta version. In the WhatsApp beta version, there is a redesigned editing screen that includes the Text option on status bar in addition to Video and Photo options.

Currently, WhatsApp only supports Photo and Video status updates, but with this new feature, text-based status updates will also be possible.
