“In January 2024, Samsung unveiled the new Galaxy S24 series alongside the Galaxy AI application, a feature of its latest flagship phones. Initially compatible with the S24 series and later flagship models, the Galaxy AI feature became available for some Galaxy phones and tablets as it is part of the One UI 6.1 operating system. So, which tablets and phones are compatible with Samsung Galaxy AI?

Samsung Galaxy AI is compatible with the 2022 phone series but has some limitations

Initially expected to be compatible only with the Galaxy S24 series and subsequent flagship models, the Galaxy AI feature’s expansion to earlier devices was welcomed by users after Samsung announced it. The feature arrived on the Galaxy S23 and Z Fold 5 series in March and April, and it will be released for the Galaxy S21 series as well, albeit with some limitations.

While the One UI 6.1 update and Galaxy AI come with features like Google Circle to Search, Live Translation, and Chat Assistant, phones like the Galaxy S22, Z Fold 4, and Z Flip 4 almost fully adopt these features. However, due to hardware limitations, the Galaxy S21 series will unfortunately miss out on features like Live Translation, Chat Assistant, and Browsing Assistant.

Samsung announced that not all devices will receive Galaxy AI, but flagship phones from 2022 onwards may have this feature. Here are the Samsung Galaxy phones and tablets that have received or will receive Galaxy AI features:
