Marvel has started preparations for a new series that will air on Disney Plus. The new production will be a spin-off of WandaVision and will focus on the character Vision, played by Paul Bettany.
Marvel’s new Vision-focused series will premiere on Disney Plus in 2026
Star Trek: Picard executive producer Terry Matalas will take over for the new Vision series. Matalas’ involvement has created great expectations about the quality and direction of the series. Vision is a character who died in Avengers: Infinity War and was brought back to life in WandaVision. This new series will delve deeper into Vision’s own story.
In 2022, it was reported that Jac Schaeffer, executive producer of WandaVision, was working on a project called Vision Quest, which would detail Vision’s journey to regain his lost memories.
However, Schaeffer’s focus has shifted to Agatha All Along. Agatha All Along, like the new Vision series, will be a story derived from WandaVision.
At the moment, no other casting information has been shared for the new series. However, Marvel plans for the series to air on Disney Plus in 2026.
Marvel’s new Vision-focused series looks set to be an important part of the MCU’s expanding story universe. Exploring Vision’s own journey will allow us to better understand the character’s depths and past.
