Xiaomi has accelerated its electric car initiatives. Xiaomi, which wants to accelerate deliveries for its first electric vehicle SU7, has also taken action for its second model. Spy images of the SUV model, codenamed Xiaomi MX11, have emerged in China.
What does the Xiaomi MX11 codenamed SUV promise?
The spy shots captured in China show that Xiaomi will maintain its current SUV concept. The MX11, which has a similar design to the SU7, looks like it will have a thin hood and flashy headlights. There is also a pebble-shaped laser radar mounted on the roof.
MX11 has side-mounted cameras and yellow brake calipers. The wheels look like multi-spoke alloys. At the rear, the MX11 has a fastback-like sloping roof. This shows that it will actually be between SUV and coupe. It is possible to say that these details are reminiscent of the SU7’s appearance.
It was reported that Xiaomi, which launched its first electric vehicle in June, will also have a hybrid version of the SUV model. Xiaomi will adopt hybrid technology for more range, creating an alternative to electricity.
On the other hand, Xiaomi used BYD’s blade batteries in its first models. In the new SU7 models, it will also benefit from CATL’s battery technology. In the second model, more weight will be given to CATL batteries.
It is estimated that the hybrid SUV will be launched at the end of the year and will go on sale in 2025. Xiaomi is also rumored to launch a more affordable electric vehicle of 25 thousand dollars in 2026.
