Samsung may introduce One UI 7 with SDC 2024
Samsung could unveil One UI 7 and more at SDC 2024. In a post on the company’s developer forums, Samsung confirmed that SDC 2024 will take place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in California.
Although no official announcement was made by the company, the event will start on October 3. Accordingly, Samsung is expected to officially announce Android 15-based One UI 7 at SDC 2024. The One UI 7 Beta is also likely to be released in October if the company maintains last year’s schedule.
With One UI 7, there will be big changes in appearance. The company is rumored to introduce a vertically scrolling app drawer. The Galaxy S25 series and the Galaxy Z Fold and Z Flip 6 models seem to be the most likely devices to receive the One UI 7 update.
On the other hand, Samsung has confirmed the Galaxy Unpacked launch date. Among the most important devices expected to be introduced at the event are the new Galaxy Z Fold6 and Z Flip6. Galaxy Buds 3, Buds 3 Pro, and Ring models will also be introduced.
If we look at the invitations sent by Samsung, we can see that the event light is focused on the Galaxy AI logo. This could mean that new Galaxy AI features will be introduced in the Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 series. In addition, artificial intelligence features are expected to come to smartwatches with the Galaxy Watch 7 series.
