Monthly security updates, initially released by Google for Pixel phones and tablets, continue throughout the month for Samsung devices. The July 2024 security update has now been rolled out for the Galaxy A55 and is also reaching more devices in the A series, including the Galaxy A53 and A14. Here are the details of the update:

The July 2024 security update first became available for the Galaxy A55, which features seamless updates. This update addresses a total of 58 security vulnerabilities, including 25 on Android and 33 found on Galaxy devices. After this update, users of the Galaxy A55 reported that the fingerprint reader issue has been resolved.
While no further updates have been released for the A55, this fix addresses a problem that users have been facing for months. The July 2024 update for the Galaxy A53 comes with software versions A536EXXSBEXF3, A536USQSBEXG4, and A536U1UESAEXG2.
For the Galaxy A14 5G, the update is available with software version A146PXXS8DXG1, model number SM-A146P. Currently, it is being rolled out in some Asian and Middle Eastern countries, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, and Thailand. If you haven’t received the update yet, it should be coming to your device soon.
