Apple Intelligence debuts with iOS 18.1 developer beta
Apple has announced Apple Intelligence, which takes AI technology to a new level, and some of these features are now available in the developer beta. However, not all features are included in this beta. Here are some features you can find in this beta:
- Writing Tools: You can now use functions like rewriting, correcting, or summarizing texts. These features can be experienced in both Apple’s own applications and many third-party applications.
- Siri Improvements: Siri has become even smarter. It can switch seamlessly between voice and text, follow you when you get stuck on words, and maintain context by linking one request to another. However, ChatGPT integration is not yet available, with Apple stating it will come later.
- Other Features: The beta also includes natural language search features, support for creating memory movies, transcription summaries, and several new Mail features.

How to Try Apple Intelligence:
- Download iOS 18.1 Beta: First, install the iOS 18.1 beta on your device.
- Open the Settings App: Go to the Settings app.

- Join the Waiting List: Select “Join the Apple Intelligence waiting list.”
