2025 BYD Song Plus Features and Pricing
The Song Plus electric vehicle, which was first introduced last year, has a new model for this year. Announced by BYD, the vehicle, which is now available in the Chinese market, retains the same starting price as the previous model but comes with upgraded features.
The 2025 BYD Song Plus offers a CLTC (China Light-Duty Vehicle Test Cycle) range of 520 km in the base model SUV and up to 605 km in the full package. The standard model features a 71.8 kWh battery, while the upper package comes with an 87.04 kWh battery.

Additionally, the 71.8 kWh battery is paired with a 150 kW motor that provides a peak torque of 310 Nm, whereas the upper model features a 160 kW electric motor with a peak torque of 330 Nm. Despite having the same motor specifications as its predecessor, the 2025 Song Plus includes new features such as a heated steering wheel, 50W wireless charging support for phones, and 5G connectivity.
The Song Plus EV can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 4 seconds. The price for the 520 km range package is approximately €19,500, while the 605 km range package is priced at about €22,900. Compared to last year, the upper package is now offered at a more affordable price of €1,800 less.
