PlayStation 5 Pro may be introduced on September 9
Recent leaks have revealed that Sony will announce the PS5 Pro on September 9th. The drawings prepared according to the packaging of the new console revealed that there will be a few changes on the design side.
US sources managed to leak all the features of the PlayStation 5 Pro console, which has been on the agenda with leaks for a while. Introduced on September 9, the next-generation device will go on sale on December 6. Sales are expected to start globally.
Finally, PS5 Pro pricing details were also leaked. Accordingly, the console will have two versions, disk and digital, similar to the PS5. The PlayStation 5 Pro disk version will be priced at $700, while the digital version will be priced at $600.
Codenamed “Trinity”, the PS5 Pro is rumored to feature a much more powerful GPU and faster CPU compared to the base console. The device is said to have 28 percent faster memory running at 576GB/s bandwidth.
The GPU in the PS5 Pro is reportedly 45 percent more powerful than the standard model. Sony is also working on a new ray-tracing architecture that is claimed to be up to three times faster. The CPU will remain the same, but will run at a clock speed of 3.85GHz, about a 10 percent increase over the PS5.
