How will the BYD Sealion 05 DM-i look like?
The company shared a short video showing the exterior details of the Sealion 05 DM-i on China’s social media platform Weibo. Designed as an SUV, the vehicle looks like it will appeal to drivers who want a larger interior space. Engine details are not yet known, but it is possible to say that it will be a hybrid due to the DM-i nomenclature.
The Sealion 05 DM-i has also been added to BYD’s vehicle catalog in China. This means that the launch could happen very soon. According to the catalog, it is possible to say that the Sealion 05 will be a mid-size SUV slightly smaller than the Tesla Model Y.
