As we enter a dynamic period for new Android devices, we’re gearing up for the introduction of flagship models powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 and MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processors from Qualcomm and MediaTek. Samsung is also working on its new flagship series, the Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra, with recent leaks revealing just how thin these devices will be. Here are the details…
Samsung Galaxy S25 Might Be Thinner than iPhone 17 Air
Despite the recent unveiling of the iPhone 16 series, leaks about the iPhone 17 series have already started to emerge. Apple aims to introduce slim designs with the iPhone 17 Air, but it seems they won’t be able to match the thinness of the Galaxy S25. While many details about the Galaxy S25 series have already been revealed, the latest leaks offer more information about the device.
The Galaxy S25 Ultra is expected to feature curved corners and be the thinnest Ultra model to date, but it turns out the standard Galaxy S25 will be even thinner. According to leaks from Ice Universe, the Galaxy S25 will have a thickness of just 7.2 mm.
This makes the S25 significantly thinner than the Galaxy S24, which is 7.6 mm thick. Samsung is aiming for compact phone designs and is reportedly planning to increase its market share in the Android segment.
While leaks about the iPhone 17 Air suggest a focus on slim designs, it appears Samsung’s devices will still have the edge in terms of thinness. What do you think about this? Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments.
