PlayStation 5 Chroma Collection Introduced
The Chroma Collection’s standout feature is its elegant design that presents color shifts based on the user’s viewing angle, offering bright and shimmering tones. The new colors provide a stark contrast to the existing options available.
Leo Cardoso from the design team responsible for the Chroma Collection stated, “With a sleek, multi-colored surface enveloping the entire controller, you’ll notice that we’ve carefully enhanced the colors of each DualSense element to perfectly complement the cheerful, iridescent transitions.”
The company also shared intriguing insights about the new color options: “Chroma Indigo transitions between two fan-favorite colors: blue and purple. Chroma Teal combines a pleasant and elegant tone of yellow-green and blue-green. If you love the original white of the DualSense, you won’t want to miss the refinement and elegance of Chroma Pearl.”
Pre-orders for the Chroma series will begin worldwide on October 3rd. Chroma Pearl and Chroma Indigo are expected to launch on November 7th, while Chroma Teal will be released on January 23, 2025.
