Snapdragon 8 “Extreme Edition” to be unveiled on October 21
The Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition is expected to be officially unveiled on October 21, 2024. The real competition will start immediately after the unveiling, with many manufacturers launching devices based on the Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition one after the other.
According to expectations, Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro will be among the first devices to use the new processor. They will be followed by flagship models from other major brands such as OPPO Find X8 Ultra, Realme GT7 Pro, iQOO 13, Honor Magic7 and OnePlus 13.
A new flagship model is expected to be introduced almost every day until the end of October. The Snapdragon 8 Extreme Edition will not only offer performance, but also power efficiency and artificial intelligence capabilities.
Qualcomm’s new chip has been developed to ensure high performance in mobile devices and is specifically optimized for gaming, camera performance and AI-based operations. In other words, it will significantly improve the user experience both in everyday use and in heavy applications.
