Intel’s new Core Ultra 9 285 processor has emerged as one of the most remarkable processors of the recent period in Geekbench tests. The new processor has a very powerful performance with 24 cores and 24 threads. However, the interesting part is that this processor works with only 65W TDP. In other words, it is likely to make users smile in terms of energy efficiency.
Intel Core Ultra 9 285 Geekbench test results
Running at 5.6 GHz in tests, this processor is only 100 MHz lower than its predecessor, the Core Ultra 9 285K. But this difference is unlikely to be noticeable in everyday use. According to Geekbench benchmarks, the Core Ultra 9 285K scored 3247 points in single-core performance and 20204 points in multi-core performance.
These numbers are quite impressive, especially when compared to the previous generation i9-14900. The fact that it is 10-12% better than the i9-14900 in single-core performance and 18% better in multi-core performance clearly demonstrates the power of this processor.
The processor was tested with a GIGABYTE Z890 UD motherboard and 32GB DDR5-5600 RAM during testing. The results are quite promising, but as more tests are done on the processor we will have a better chance to evaluate the final performance.
Intel’s Core Ultra 9 285 is likely to please users with its performance and energy efficiency. If you’re looking for a processor that manages to stay cool while doing big things, this new model might be for you.
