What does Xiaomi SU7 Ultra promise?
Xiaomi has launched the pre-order process as it prepares for the launch of its electric SUV model SU7 Ultra. Pre-orders for the high-performance SUV are now open on Xiaomi’s website. The official launch will take place on October 29.
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra promises to offer a performance that will challenge other high-end electric vehicles on the market. Producing 1526 horsepower with its three-motor system, the vehicle will accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.97 seconds. It is also stated that it can reach an estimated maximum speed of 350 km/h.
The battery that will power this powerful electric motor will be manufactured by CATL. The SUV will use CATL’s Qilin 2.0 battery with a capacity of 150 kWh, capable of delivering over 800 kW even at 20 percent charge. Thanks to its dual-surface cooling system, the Qilin 2.0 promises high-performance driving.
The weight of the vehicle, whose exterior body panels are all made of lightweight and durable carbon fiber, is only 1,900 kg. Despite this lightweight structure, the SU7 Ultra can produce a ground compression force of up to 2145 kg and has a battery output power of 1330 kW.
Although pre-orders have started ahead of the launch in the coming days, pricing has not yet been announced. However, analysts estimate that Xiaomi’s high-end SUV will cost around 112 thousand dollars.
