OPPO Find X8 Ultra to be Powered by Snapdragon 8 Elite Processor
While the camera capabilities are expected to be a key highlight, it’s worth examining the processor first. The Snapdragon 8 Elite, Qualcomm’s newly announced flagship chipset, is likely to power the OPPO Find X8 Ultra, delivering high performance.
Expected to be launched in the first quarter of 2025, the X8 Ultra will feature a one-inch main camera and dual periscope telephoto lenses, according to Digital Chat Station. This advanced camera setup will include a 50-megapixel wide main camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, a 50-megapixel 3x optical zoom periscope telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel 6x optical zoom periscope telephoto lens.
Additionally, reports indicate that the device will support 10x hybrid optical zoom and will retain the same lens types as the previous generation. OPPO is expected to introduce two models in this flagship series, though details about the additional options are still unknown.
Previous leaks also suggested that the Find X8 Ultra will come with a 2K OLED display. Meanwhile, OPPO is reportedly working on a foldable phone named the Find N5, which is expected to be the first foldable powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
