OnePlus 12 to receive Android 15 update
The list of innovations is long. Among the highlights, the system-wide graphics engine has been improved to provide a smoother experience for animations and visuals under heavy load. In addition, a consistent scrolling experience is provided in third-party applications, creating a unity across the entire system.
The redesigned Home Screen is more user-friendly with new icons, themes, floating window gestures and resizable Split View windows. Quick Settings and the notification drawer are separated, and Quick Settings has also been completely redesigned. The device also gets new wallpapers with the update.
There is no information about AI (artificial intelligence) features in these update notes. However, OnePlus tells users that they are keeping AI features in the testing phase so as not to compromise the speed and smooth experience of the device, and that these features will be added in future updates by the end of the month. To further test AI-based functions, the company aims to make these features available to users in a separate update.
