One of the leading players in the smartphone market, OPPO, has started the countdown for its highly anticipated Reno 13 series. The smartphones, whose live images were recently leaked, have revealed their designs, and the official launch date has also been announced.
OPPO Announces the Launch Date for the Reno 13 Series
OPPO has officially announced that the Reno 13 series will be introduced on November 25 at an event in China. The event will not only showcase the brand’s new smartphones but also unveil products like the much-rumored Pad 3 and Enco R3 Pro TWS.
The leaked images of the smartphones suggest that the Reno 13 series will feature significant design changes compared to its predecessors. The series appears to abandon the vertical triple-camera design of previous models. Instead, it adopts a new layout with two large vertically aligned sensors alongside an auxiliary sensor placed beside them.
The Reno 13 series, set to be introduced soon, has had its designs leaked. Although the front panels of the phones were not revealed in the leaks, past models provide clues. A high screen-to-body ratio with a punch-hole display is expected.
While details about the standard model remain uncertain, previous reports suggest the Pro model will feature a 6.78-inch micro-curved LTPO OLED panel with a resolution of 1264×2780. The device will include a triple-camera setup led by a 50 MP main sensor, an impressive 5,900 mAh battery with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The smartphone is expected to be powered by either the Dimensity 8300 or Dimensity 8350 chipset.
