Galaxy S25 Slim, which we expect to be released in April 2025, seems to exceed expectations with an ultra-thin design and high-end camera features. So much so that, according to the latest details, the Slim model may have better camera features than the standard model.
Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim may be more capable than the standard S25 model in terms of camera
First of all, the Slim model is designed to compete with Apple’s expected iPhone 17 Air model. According to the latest leaks, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is set to come with camera features that surpass the standard Galaxy S25. Here are the advantages of the new model:
200 MP ISOCELL HP5 sensor:
The main camera uses Samsung’s latest 200 MP resolution ISOCELL HP5 sensor. This 1/1.56-inch sensor has a larger surface area than previous models and can take clearer and crisper photos even in low light. In fact, it is stated that this sensor will also be used in Samsung’s foldable model Galaxy Z Fold7.
Ultra wide angle and telephoto lens:
Galaxy S25 Slim will come with a 50 MP JN5 sensor in ultra-wide angle and telephoto lenses. The 1/2.76-inch sensor will provide superior clarity and color accuracy.
3.5x Optical Zoom:
The new telephoto lens will be capable of 3.5x optical zoom. Thanks to Samsung’s ALoP (All Lenses on Prism) technology, a larger lens diameter is achieved by placing the lenses horizontally. So what is this ALoP technology?
Let’s say that the ALoP technology developed by Samsung is one of the biggest advantages of the Galaxy S25 Slim. This design, which places the lenses parallel to the phone body, manages to improve image quality without enlarging the camera module. Galaxy S25 Slim will probably compete head-to-head with Apple’s iPhone 17 Air.
So, do you think ultra-thin phones will be the standard in the future, or will they appeal to a niche user base? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
