Audi has accelerated its preparations for the third-generation Audi Q7, which is scheduled to be launched in 2026. Judging by the latest spy photos, the new Q7 will come with a more modern design and advanced technologies. Here are the details
Audi Q7 model comes with technological equipment called Audi Digital Stage
The new Audi Q7 is rumored to have both a sleek and modern design compared to previous generations. Although the spy photos show the car still covered in camouflage, there are some striking details. The standard Q7 model has a more “classic” look with large air intakes and a simple front grille, while the sportier SQ7 model comes with an aggressive front bumper with a honeycomb grille and three separate air intakes.
At the rear, the LED lights are connected by a horizontal light bar. In the side profile, the door handles are aligned with the body. This is probably a detail aimed at improving aerodynamic performance. The interior design is not yet clear, but it is estimated to be inspired by Audi’s latest models.
Meanwhile, the new Q7 is expected to have technological equipment called Audi Digital Stage. This system consists of an 11.9-inch Audi Virtual Cockpit, a 14.5-inch MMI touchscreen and an optional passenger display. It will also have seating capacity for seven thanks to the spacious interior.
Although the exact engine options have not yet been revealed, Audi is certain to offer electrically assisted engines for the Q7. In addition to plug-in hybrid technology, an SQ7 with a 500-horsepower twin-turbo V8 engine could be considered for those who want more performance. However, it is not yet known whether Audi will change this engine.
