OPPO continues to ramp up its efforts in the tablet market. The Chinese manufacturer is set to introduce its gaming-focused X8 Pad model to consumers in the near future. Recent developments have revealed new details about the upcoming tablet.

What will the OPPO X8 Pad offer?

Known for its industry leaks, Digital Chat Station has shared new details about the upcoming OPPO X8 Pad. According to the report, the tablet will feature an 8.8-inch LCD display. While the refresh rate is not confirmed yet, it is expected to support up to 144 Hz. For reference, the Pad 3 model unveiled last November also boasted a 144 Hz refresh rate.

The tablet will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor. Built on a 4nm architecture, the chipset includes 1x 3.63 GHz ARM Cortex-X925, 3x 3.3 GHz ARM Cortex-X4, and 4x 2.4 GHz ARM Cortex-A720 cores, along with an Immortalis-G925 MC12 GPU.

Although no further technical details about the X8 Pad have been shared at this time, additional information is expected to surface in the coming days. The launch event is anticipated to take place very soon.
