OnePlus will launch the OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro in the Chinese market on December 26th. Over the past few weeks, many rumors about the device’s release date have surfaced. Now, the brand has released official confirmation as well as promotional images of the devices, including memory and color configurations.
The announcement comes shortly after the company’s global arm confirmed that the OnePlus 13 and OnePlus 13R will launch in the global market on January 7. It is worth remembering that the OnePlus 13R model will be a renamed version of the OnePlus Ace 5.
Important details about the OnePlus Ace 5
OnePlus Ace 5 series will be released in five memory configurations. These options will be 12 GB RAM + 256 GB internal storage, 12 GB + 512 GB, 16 GB + 256 GB, 16 GB + 512 GB and 16 GB + 1 TB. In terms of color options, the device will be available in Gravitational Titanium, Full Speed Black and Celestial Porcelain.
The Ace 5 Pro will be available in Moon White Porcelain, Submarine Black and Starry Purple. The first shade will apparently feature a ceramic-coated panel, while the others will feature a glass panel.
OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro models will be offered with features such as a 6.78-inch flat BOE X2 LTPO OLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate and an under-screen fingerprint reader. Both devices will come with the ColorOS 15 interface based on the Android 15 operating system.
Other features will include infrared, an alert slider and a metal frame. Both devices are expected to have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. On the back, the Ace 5 will allegedly have a 50-megapixel main sensor with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel macro.
