Acer has introduced the Aspire Vero 16, the world’s first laptop made from carbon-neutral and bio-based oyster shell material, showcased at the ongoing CES 2025 event. So, what exactly does this laptop offer to users?
What does the Acer Aspire Vero 16 offer?
The Aspire Vero 16, marketed as the first laptop made from carbon-neutral and bio-based oyster shell material, boasts a casing made from a combination of over 70% post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastic and bio-based materials.
The model is powered by Intel Core Ultra 200H series processors and features integrated Intel Arc graphics. It comes with up to 32 GB of memory and up to 2 TB of storage. The laptop offers a 16-inch screen with 100% sRGB color gamut support and WUXGA resolution. Other user-experience-enhancing features include a 1440P QHD webcam with privacy features, Wi-Fi 7 with key connectivity options, HDMI 2.1, and two Thunderbolt 4 ports.
