Films come true! New patent for smart ring from Samsung
With the rapid advancement of technology, wearable devices are becoming an integral part of our lives. With new devices such as Galaxy Ring, many products from smart glasses to smart watches to virtual reality headsets make daily life more efficient.
One of the products that make daily life more efficient is the smart ring. Taking an important step in this area, Samsung, MWC 2024 event at the Galaxy Ring smart ring named Galaxy Ring introduced and had recently offered for sale in Turkey. Today, a new patent related to Samsung’s smart ring has surfaced.
Samsung is patenting for Galaxy Ring that can control other devices
Samsung has applied for a new smart ring patent at the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO). This patent allows the user of the ring to control other electronic devices. Accordingly, it seems that users can share data by wirelessly interacting with other devices using the ring.
Samsung currently has a single smart ring model. Therefore, this patent is expected to be applied to the Galaxy Ring 2. Because it is already known that the model in question is under development.

The brand’s first Galaxy Ring offered health features by measuring heart rate, sleep and biometric data. The second model of the series is expected to go beyond health tracking. We will see this together when it is released.
